Bramhall Festival 2009
Last weekend saw the arrival of the first Bramhall Festival in many years, and as the photos in our gallery show, and what a fantastic event it was!!
The official opening reception was held at Bramhall Methodist Church and was attended by the Mayor , Mayoress, Mark Hunter MP and various other councillors and members of the Bramhall Business Community
The parade began at 11.00am and hundreds of adults and children walked all the way from Bramhall station car park up to Meadway, led by Imagine FM
If hundreds were in the parade , there were hundreds more lining the streets to watch and join in the fun too
Then the weekend began in earnest ...bars, restaurants and various shops all donated something to the festival and there was entertainment throughout the whole weekend in the centre of Bramhall Village Square, with a closing ceremony on Sunday at 16.00, depicted by the photo in the square
Thankyou to EVERYONE who supported the event in any way at all and lets now all work together to make Light up Christmas on December 5th , then next major event in Bramhall
